A shoe box filled with paper ephemera tells the story of one mans life. 

 

Following his journey through primary school and leaving home for the first time for boarding school, to surviving two world wars. A jumble of handwritten letters now lovingly organised and brought to life in two antique photo albums.

Ancestry research into his life has helped build a family tree and made sense of the authors and recipients of the letters but there are still more questions than answers about his life.
